Whitney & Bethany // Alabama In-Home

Oh my gosh I blogged! I haven’t had time to come up for air in quite some time now, but this shoot was deserving of a blog post. So here I am, days away from leaving for China. While checking millions of things off of my ever growing list, I am again reminded that in the midst of the busyness…I freaking love my job(s).

I get to take pictures of incredible people, I get to sing until my throat aches, travel all over the world & most importantly…I get to be with the people I love while doing it. Like what? Heck…who needs sleep when you get to spit truths like these out of your mouth.

Ben & Chretienne // Sprague Shoot

I've never had to convince someone that they "needed" me to take photos of them. These two were a little tricky to persuade. They've never had photos together & aren't really fans of the whole "photos together" deal. But I forced them into it and they were (not so surprisingly) oh so natural & fun in front of my lens. I do feel bad for them though...cause I will be photographing them again even if I have to be a stalker to do it. They were kind, beautiful & the perfect subjects for a summer shoot of love.

PS. If you are my friend, you know I've suggested "Madelines" in Spokane as a meet up spot more than once (if not every time we hang out). It's only fitting that some of my favorite spots in town are owned by Ben & his family. They have a customer for LIFE.

Corey & Kyha // In Home Shoot

If there is a puppy at your house and you ask me to come take photos...I may pay more attention to the puppy than you. I'm sorry in advance for this flaw of mine. Luckily, Corey & Kyha are some of the coolest humans, so I enjoyed my time with them too.

This cute home, with this cute dog and this cute couple made one freaking adorable session.  Have a looksie.

Mark & Rachel // Palouse Falls Couple Shoot

Sometimes I get couples to go on adventures with me. This is no standard shoot. It's hot, it's sweaty, it may require some hiking or uncomfortable terrain, it may mean facing a fear (like snakes or heights) or it might simply mean we all get a little out of our comfort zone. But somehow it's a blast. I want every shoot to feel like this one.

Thank you Mark & Rachel for going on this adventure with me. Thank you Ilse Papst for creating some beautiful arrangements to accessorize them in a unique way. I sure love you all!

Ryan & Alissa // Spokane Valley Couple Shoot

If you know these two people...you are lucky. They are incredible talented (check out Ferguson Films & Alissa Ferguson Photography for proof), they are profoundly kind, fun & they are insanely beautiful! Alissa asked me to take some family photos for them & I felt honored for the opportunity. Naturally I agreed...but only if I could take some of her & Ryan as well. They are just to cute to pass up.

Kevin & Kaarin // Couple Shoot

I need more shoots like this in my life!

Rules...Look cool (like you do everyday). Let me help you choose your outfits & the location. Be willing to do whatever I tell you. Look great while you do whatever I told you to do. Have fun with me while we adventure & take photos together. And the result is the blog below.

So for reals. I need more shoots like this. If you hire me....it will probably, most likely, be totally worth it!

Whitney & Bethany // Alabama Portrait

Bethany hates getting her photo taken. She hardcore wines every time I mention taking pics of her & Whit. Which is silly because they are adorable & their adorableness should be documented more often. The two of them are incredible photographers themselves, but hardly have any photos of themselves, so I basically force them into it whenever I get a chance.

And I don't feel bad about it. I'm such a good friend ;).

Whitney & Bethany // Paris Anniversary Shoot

The sun was setting fast on our last night in Paris. I had been begging Whit & Bethany the whole trip to let me take a few pics of them. They happily celebrated 6 years of marriage in April, are fantastic photographers themselves & yet...have almost zero professional pics together. So I finally convinced (or coerced) them into a 15min session in the city of love. Who wouldn't want to take pics of their adorable faces?!
